TEXAS WINGS FLYING CLUB -- AMA CHARTER #1521

Field is a well-maintained 500' x 80' North/South grass runway, North/South pilot flight boxes, two large pit and parking areas, sun shelter/pilot/spectator area, picnic tables, and porta-potty. Texas Wings field gate is normally locked unless the field is in use by members. When the gate is open, spectators are always welcome. Directions to our Flying Field:
* From North Loop 820, proceed north on 35W, exit North on 287, travel approximately 7 mi., exit on FM718/Newark turn left and travel approximately 3.2mi., turn left on Morris-Dido Rd. (FM 1220), travel approximately .4 mi., turn right at gate into Texas Wings Flying Field.

* From North West Loop 820, exit Hwy 199 West (Jacksboro Hwy) proceed North one block (approx .02 mi.) and turn right onto Boat Club Rd./Morris-Dido Rd. (FM 1220), travel approximately 15.5 mi., turn left at gate into Texas Wings Flying Field. Club Field approximately .4 mi. before the intersection of Morris-Dido Rd. (FM 1220) & FM 718.
